The nation's Roman Catholic bishops vowed Tuesday to forcefully confront the Obama administration over its support for abortion rights, saying the church and religious freedom could be under attack in the new presidential administration.

This is really ticking me off. Catholics voted for Obama because of the economy, not because of abortion, and frankly there is NOTHING that the president can do about abortion. He has NO authority over Roe v. Wade. These bishops are embarassing the Church!

The Bishops Are the Church. The Followers Obey the Bishops. There isn't a church without the bishops. Religion gathers together the mediocre brains. You have to have a wicked brain to produce religion and a stupid brain to believe in the illusions the bishops preach.

    I wish these religious nut-bags would just stop. I stopped attending church because of all their rhetoric. Everyone has a right to believe what they want. There is no room in politics for religion! That is probably George W's biggest downfalls.
