After watching "Saturday Night Live" make fun of her from afar, Sarah Palin witnessed it first hand this week as Tina Fey engaged in fiction by depicting her at the news conference the Republican vice presidential nominee has yet to hold.

Even her appearance on SNL was guarded. I was disappointed. I was expecting her to be more interesting. It would have been the smart thing to do. McCain's appearance was hilarious and showed the human side of him. The point of SNL is to make fun of yourself on camera. She did none of that. What a dull show! But then I guess they weren't allowed to do anything interesting otherwise she probably would have cancelled her appearance.
